A preview of an upcoming episode of Welcome To Plathville shows an interaction between Moriah and Olivia Plath. The drama between the two women has been at the center of the storyline for some time. Are they finally ready to put their differences aside? Well, not completely. Here’s what has been revealed.
Olivia Plath Isn’t Buying Moriah’s Apology
In the preview, Moriah and Olivia see each other for the first time since Olivia and Ethan’s breakup. Moriah enters the conversation with the intention of apologizing to her former sister-in-law. The two did not leave things on good terms, so tensions were high.
Last season on Welcome To Plathville, Moriah informed Ethan that Olivia published Moriah’s music online. She deleted it but kept the profits of the music for herself. Olivia told Ethan that what Moriah was saying wasn’t true. However, Moriah continued to stick to her story until now.
“I’m really sorry that I made up a story about you stealing my music and broadcasted that to everyone,” Moriah told Olivia in the preview. Hearing Moriah admit that she lied helped Olivia some, but it was hard for her to accept the apology.
“I don’t really know what to do with Mariah’s apology because it’s not specific,” Olivia stated in a confessional. “I think you’d be really nice for her to be like, ‘Yeah, you know, Ethan told us what actually happened, and I’m sorry I called you a liar in front of the whole world when it was proven to be true.’”
The Welcome To Plathville star also questioned why Moriah was finally coming forward with an apology now. “I think that this is a conversation she needed to have to maybe come to terms with herself,” Olivia said.
The Welcome To Plathville Stars Likely Won’t Be Friends Again
After that, the clip shows Olivia opening up to Moriah about how she feels about the situation. Despite her apology, Olivia said, “There’s no trust there.” More than that, Olivia doesn’t have any desire to have any relationship with the rest of the Plath family at this point.
“I don’t need to have those conversations,” she told Moriah. “My closure is what’s happening. All those things should have been worked and worked out privately.”
Moriah said that she wants to ensure this never happens again. She said, “I think even if I’m mad about a situation, I just never again want to do that to somebody, especially publicly.”
Olivia Plath wasn’t interested in letting Moriah off the hook though. She told her that the apology felt “suspicious.” Olivia pointed out that she knew Moriah was releasing a new song and felt like she was only apologizing because of that.
“I know that you’re releasing a song this week,” Olivia told her. “I know you wrote it about me. I don’t know, it just kind of sat with me in a weird way of like, meeting up and talking this week — the same week you’re releasing a song that is like your burn book basically against me.”
Moriah Plath was stunned silent by what Olivia had to say. The preview clip ended with Moriah nodding her head.
Welcome to Plathville airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
