Stassi Schroeder talks about the negatives of reality TV and Stassi Says. Schroeder is known for her appearances in Vanderpump Rules. Despite her negative opinion on Reality TV, she plans on creating a series, Stassi Says.
Stassi and Reality TV
Schroeder has spent a lot of time out of the reality TV spotlight with her family, but this wasn’t by choice. Schroeder was removed from the Bravo series, Vanderpump Rules along with her co-star Kristen Doute due to racist action against a co-star.
Back in 2020, Bravo announced that Schroeder and Doute had called the police on Faith Stowers for a crime she did not commit. They were not allowed to return for the following season of the series. Even though it would make sense for her not to be allowed back into the Vanderpump world, Stassi Schroeder is returning for Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa.
For those who have not watched the reality TV series, Vanderpump Rules is about Lisa Vanderpump and the staff at her restaurant and bar. The team works to build their future as they get entangled in personal drama. The show has 11 seasons and first aired in 2013.
Vanderpump Villa is the spinoff of Vanderpump Rules. The first episode of Season 1 aired in April of this year. It follows the Vanderpump staff as they attempt to provide a luxury experience for guests at a French château. Furthermore, as they attempt perfection, they are challenged by love, enemies, and around-the-clock roommates.
Stassi Schroeder expresses that she would have stayed on the show forever if not for being fired. Additionally, she admits that being on a reality show can turn you into a crazier version of yourself and hurt you mentally, but she still really likes being a part of it.
Post Vanderpump Rules
Schroeder revealed that she was offered a spot on the Vanderpump Rules spin-off, The Valley. The series starred her ex-boyfriend, Jax Taylor as well as Doute. Schroeder denied the opportunity and took a break to let her audience miss her.
Despite all the negative talk about mental health and the effects it has on individuals, her break is over. Schroeder announced that her return to Reality TV would come with her series to air on Hulu, Stassi Says.
Her upcoming series will be a docu-comedy. The logline of the series expresses how it will be “endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical and questionably sane.” Moreover, the series will follow individuals who are going through an identity crisis or a big decision of such. Stassi will get to have a big impact on the people around her so hopefully, she has grown and will do it positively.
