Jennifer Aniston marked the first anniversary of former Friends costar Matthew Perry’s death in a powerful way. “1 year ❤️🩹🕊️,” she wrote via Instagram on Monday, October 28, alongside four photos of Perry. News broke in October 2023 that the actor died at age 54, and a toxicology report confirmed two months later that his death was caused by the “acute effects of ketamine.” Drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine also contributed to his death, which was ruled an accident. Aniston, 55, and her fellow Friends alums previously issued a joint statement honoring Perry, revealing they were “devastated” by the loss. “We were more than just cast mates.
