WNBA star Caitlin Clark discovered that there is such a thing as too many friendship bracelets.
Clark, 22, attended two of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium earlier this month and received a surplus of bracelets from fellow concertgoers.
“I had a ton [of bracelets], all the way up the arms. I had to take them off, my circulation was getting cut off,” the Indiana Fever point guard said during a panel at the Women’s Leadership Summit in Belleair, Florida, on Tuesday, November 12. “Everyone was just chucking their bracelets at me.”
Clark noted that she’s now seen Swift, 34, perform live three times.
“Every time the show has just gotten better, and you leave [an] even bigger fan,” she said.
Clark previously shared a photo of her arm decked out with the accessory that has come to be associated with Swifties and Eras Tour shows.
“I’m dedicated,” she wrote via her Instagram Story alongside the snap, which showed about 20 bracelets on her arm.
Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, raved about meeting Clark at one of the Indianapolis shows during an episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast earlier this month.
“She’s awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city. And we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, you know?” said Travis, 35, who grew up in Ohio. “It was cool catching up with her. … She’s a Swiftie through and through, man.”
The Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023, will come to an end in Vancouver next month after 149 shows. During the 100th performance in June, Swift told the crowd in Liverpool, England, that the tour has been the “most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, rewarding, most wonderful” experience of her life.
“I think that this tour has really become my entire life,” she said. “It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore. All I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mash-ups and think about what you might want to hear.”
After nearly two years of touring, Swift is “looking forward to taking a break and relaxing” in 2025, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in September. “She’s exhausted. … Taylor’s really eager to start the next chapter with Travis.”
A second source added that Swift and Travis, who started dating during the summer of 2023, are “very committed” to each other.
“Taylor is ready for the next era of her life,” the insider said. “She knows it will be special.”
