Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson are both known for their work on General Hospital. Together, the two have been involved with a lot of projects together. In fact, the two recently shared a Christmas gift with fans of the soap.
Steve Burton & Bradford Anderson Have Teamed Up A Lot Over The Years
Anderson is known for playing Damian Spinelli on General Hospital, first appearing on the soap in 2006. Burton is known for playing Jason Morgan, first appearing on the soap back in 1991.
Over the years, the two have been involved in a variety of projects together. With Scott Reeves and Brandon Barash, they make up the rock group Port Chuck, which has performed at fan events. They also have a road show, Stone Cold and the Jackal.
The two also host their own podcast, The Daily Drama. As noted by Soap Hub, the podcast normally airs new episodes on Wednesdays.
However, with Christmas falling on a Wednesday this year, many thought that the two would take a break. That said, the two have often shared Christmas “gifts” for fans, including a “Last Christmas” duet back in 2020.
Ultimately, however, Burton and Anderson ended up releasing a short episode on the holiday. As the publication noted, it was recorded backstage during one of their holiday shows.
Anderson announced, “This is the Christmas episode.” He continued, “This will go up on YouTube, probably Christmas Day.”
The Two Talked About Their General Hospital Characters’ Favorite Holiday
The two touched on their holiday tour and reflected on General Hospital’s own Christmas traditions. As Anderson noted, “In the show, we talk about holiday traditions.” He then asked, “But one question that I had was, what do you think has been our characters’ favorite holiday?”
Burton shared, “When I was Jason Quartermaine, being a part of that family during the holidays, just as the character but also as the actor, we just had a blast.” He added, “I remember I had some fun Christmases with Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco).”
Anderson, musing when his and Burton’s characters lived in the penthouse together, noted, “I think we spent some Christmases together.” He mused, “The fact that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli have a house full of kids…I think for Spinelli, I think spending a holiday in that house with that family – being a true part of that family – I think this would be his favorite year.”
On Instagram, the two also released a shared post talking more about the holiday tour. As they noted, “We finished up our tour today in #richmond and want to thank everyone that joined us for all of our holiday shows! We had a great time entertaining all of you!”
The two also shared, “We’ll start planning our #2025 holiday tour soon!!” The caption ended, “Have yourself a wonderful holiday season and thanks for letting us entertain you!”
As previously reported, this isn’t the first “gift” Burton shared with fans in time for the holidays. At the time, he shared a post on Instagram, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the General Hospital set, which was decorated for Christmas.
