As longtime Family Feud fans know, the formula for the flagship show is already a winner. It has been tried and tested for decades, and it’s something that continues to pull new generations of viewers in. Many people who first watched the show as kids with their families are now watching the show with their own families, and this tradition is true for many households.
Now, when you have a winning formula like the one that Family Feud has, and then you add celebrities into the fold, this is always a proven winner. In any game show format, adding celebrities into the mix is a surefire way to get views, and the same is true when it comes to Family Feud.
Snoop Dogg Leaves Steve Harvey Stunned
A Family Feud clip making the rounds features none other than celeb guest, Snoop Dogg. Wherever Snoop goes, the party follows him, and this held true when he crashed the game show set for the celebrity edition of the popular game.
When filming the flagship version of the game, Steve Harvey is typically the most famous person on the Family Feud stage. However, when other celebrities come to compete, suddenly, Steve isn’t the only famous person around.
Snoop Dogg and his team made it all the way to the final round to play for $25k for their chosen charity, and he had the chance to bring it home in a big way.
Family Feud: Snoop Dogg Stuns Steve Harvey, What Happened?
The pressure was on for Snoop Dogg, as he needed 59 points to get to the big money for charity. While this does not seem to be like a big hurdle to get over, many people have dropped the ball right at the end, and Snoop Dogg eventually had to pop a squat.
Heading into the third of his five answers, Snoop only needed 30 points to get into the money. This third question was: “Name something that happens in the month of April.” Snoop’s response was “April Fools’ Day.” It ended up giving him 29 points, only a single point shy of getting into the money.
With how close this put Snoop and his team, the legendary rapper popped a squat right in the middle of the game show stage, shocking Steve Harvey in the process. However, it was not as shocking as Snoop’s next answer. When Steve asked him to fill in the blank of “Pie in the what?” Snoop said: “Horse.”
Steve was beside himself following this response, and he made sure to fully milk it for comedic effect. Even though this fourth answer from Snoop garnered zero points, he brought it home with his final answer of naming a color in a traffic light. Snoop responded with, “Red,” giving him 57 points and taking him and his team to the money.
