    Newport Jazz Festival Reveals 2025 Lineup with Janelle Monáe, The Roots

    Newport Jazz Festival has announced the lineup for its 2025 edition, taking place August 1st through 3rd in Newport, Rhode Island. Janelle Monáe, The Roots, and Jacob Collier top the bill, with RAYE, Jorja Smith, Esperanza Spalding, De La Soul, and Willow also set to perform.

    Other major artists heading to Rhode Island this summer include Thee Sacred Souls, Dianne Reeves, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Louis Cato, The Yussef Dayes Experience, Rachael & Vilray, Terence Blanchard playing his 2005 album Flow, and LA LOM.     Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 17th at 1:00 p.m. EST via DICE. Check out Newport Jazz Festival’s website for more information. Specially priced three day passes are available for the next 48 hours on a first come first serve basis. Students can also purchase single day and three-day passes at a reduced price while supplies last.
