Farmer Wants A Wife: John Sansone Chose Claire Dirette As His Final Pick
As fans saw in the Farmer Wants A Wife Season 3 finale, John had to pick between Claire Dirette and Lily Ayres as his final choice. The vast majority of fans believed that John would pick Lily, as many believed they were a better match on paper.
However, John Sansone surprised many Farmer Wants A Wife fans when he chose Claire over Lily. Claire and John are opposite in a lot of ways, however, the way John chose, he seemed to have no problem going for someone a little different from himself.
John Sansone recently dished on his thought process and what ultimately led to him choosing Claire in the end. He said, “I don’t think there was a specific moment in general, but towards the end, Claire and Lily and I were able to spend a lot more time together offscreen.”
John continued, adding, “Because we all had this kind of understanding with the wranglers at the time that we weren’t going to talk about anything important and vital for the show, so we were very just casual in how we would hang out.”
John added, “We’d go on sunset drives in the Polaris and stuff, and go down to the creek. I ended up finding myself more just drawn to Claire and just being able to get along with her in a very casual sense. So I feel like it built some sort of a friendship, which I think is a great foundation for a relationship.”
Farmer Wants A Wife Pair Reveal Future Plans, Engagement Coming?
Now that John Sansone and Claire Dirette are officially an item, many Farmer Wants A Wife fans want to know how the relationship is going for these two, as well as future plans, like an engagement, and more. Speaking recently with PEOPLE about their relationship, the pair said that there were a lot of nights in as they were getting to know each other after filming wrapped, and this consisted of “a lot of movies.”
The pair also made it clear that they are not looking to rush into anything like an engagement anytime soon. Speaking on the approach they have to their relationship, John said, “We’re just going day by day, seeing how it goes. I think that’s the best way to do it because if we start putting all this pressure and timelines and stuff on our relationship, it’s just bound for trouble.”
John Sansone also talked about what else makes their relationship work. He said, “One of the strongest things that we have together is our ability to communicate. I think that’s what’s kept us going so strong and also helped us to navigate our differences so well because we’re able to just have normal, cool-headed conversations and learn from each other.”
