Gorillaz have announced four special one-off concerts taking place in London this summer dedicated to their first three studio albums: 2001’s Gorillaz, 2005’s Demon Days, and 2010’s Plastic Beach.
The shows will arrive at the conclusion of the band’s recently-announced House of Kong exhibition, which runs at the Copper Box Arena in London from August 8th to September 3rd, 2025. The four concerts will take place on August 29th (they’ll play Gorillaz in full), August 30th (Demon Days in full), September 2nd (Plastic Beach in full), and September 3rd (billed as a “Mystery Show”) at the Copper Box.
In addition to playing the albums in their entirety, Gorillaz will also reprise the original live show formats and visuals that accompanied those albums; meaning each show will be a unique encapsulation of its corresponding era, with the final night remaining a mystery. As for House of Kong, the exhibit celebrates Gorillaz’s unique visual universe, virtual bandmates, and the stories and artwork behind their eight studio albums.

Albarn has also teased a new Gorillaz album, telling the French publication Les Inrockuptibles that he’s been hard at work on the new record.
