Lizzo Goes Jazz For Blue Note Residencies

Lizzo’s last proper tour visited arenas and festivals in 2023, but the artist is hunkering down in much smaller musical environments next month. She’ll perform at Blue Note Jazz Club locations in Los Angeles Feb. 20-22 and New York Feb. 27-28 and March 1 as part of shows featuring “unique jazz and flute arrangements” of her catalog curated specifically for the occasions.

Each night will consist of a separate 8pm and 10:30pm shows by the classically trained musician. An artist ticket presale begins tomorrow (Jan. 28), with the general on-sale to follow the next day. Los Angeles tickets can be obtained here; click here for New York tickets.

Blue Note L.A. opened in August 2025 and operates in the same adventurous spirit as its long-running New York sibling, both of which are booked by Blue Note Entertainment Group Director of Programming Alex Kurland. Among the recently announced performers at the L.A. club are Nick Jonas, WILLOW, Jill Scott and rising U.K. star Sienna Spiro.

“Blue Note L.A. will focus on curated and consistent, artist-driven programming in that intimate Blue Note Jazz Club vibe that people love,” Kurland said before last summer’s ribbon-cutting. “Blue Note New York has a uniquely New York energy, and for Blue Note L.A., it’s important to honor what makes this city’s creative energy and spirit so distinctive. Blue Note embraces the space to collaborate and experience those spontaneous moments that are special.”

As for Lizzo, she appeared on Saturday Night Live in April 2025 ahead of the planned release of her next album, Love in Real Life, but the project has yet to see the light of day.
