Nancy Guthrie’s Home to Be Returned to Family as Search Continues: Report

Nancy Guthrie’s home is to be returned to her family as the search for the missing mom of Today show cohost Savannah Guthrie nears the one-month mark, per NBC News.

Police believe Nancy, 84, was abducted from her home in the Catalina Foothills north of Tucson, Arizona, in the early hours of February 1.

NBC News reported on Wednesday, February 25, that Nancy’s home, which has been treated as a crime scene since she was first reported missing, will be returned to her family, citing two federal law enforcement sources.

As well as Today show anchor Savannah, 54, Nancy is mom to daughter Annie and son Camron, whom she shared with late husband Charles Guthrie. Charles died from a heart attack in 1988 at age 49.

The disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie, continues to provide more questions than answers. Ever since Nancy was reported missing in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, local law enforcement and the FBI have been working around the clock to bring the 84-year-old back to her family. “I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her […]

Nancy’s home has been a hub of both local and federal police activity over the past month, with DNA evidence and surveillance camera footage recovered from the scene. That activity continued into Wednesday, though neither the FBI nor the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has publicly revealed what they were doing at the property this week.

Us Weekly has reached out to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI for comment.

Earlier this week, Savannah and her family increased their reward for Nancy’s return to $1 million.

“Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home,” Savannah captioned an emotional Instagram video posted on Tuesday, February 24. “Call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) — you can remain anonymous — or find a way to reach out to me.”

A neighbor of Savannah Guthrie’s mom claims she observed a man in their community weeks before Nancy Guthrie disappeared. “He didn’t have your typical walking gear on, and he had his hat pulled really far over his eyes,” Aldine Meister, who lives in Catalina Foothills, told Fox News Digital on Wednesday, February 25, of the […]

Savannah wrote in the caption of her post that the $1 million reward would be paid “only for [the] recovery” of Nancy.

In her video, the journalist said, “Coming on to say it is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed, and every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then, of worrying about her and fearing for her, aching for her, and most of all, just missing her, missing her.”

“We know that millions of you have been praying,” she continued. “So many people have been praying of every faith and no faith at all, praying for her return, and we feel those prayers. Please keep praying without ceasing. We still believe. We still believe in a miracle.”

Savannah acknowledged that “we also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother, Pierce, and with our daddy, the if this is what is to be, then we will accept it.”
