Muse Following New ‘Signal’ On Summer Tour

Muse Following New ‘Signal’ On Summer Tour

A week after announcing its 10th studio album, The Wow! Signal, Muse has unveiled a summer North American tour, which will begin July 2 at Milwaukee’s Summerfest and conclude Aug. 31 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The Temper Trap will open all dates, with Bloc Party and Portugal. The Man appearing at select shows.

Named after an exclamation excitedly scrawled by a scientist onto a data printout from the now-defunct Big Ear radio telescope in 1977, The Wow! Signal will be released June 26 on Warner Records. Its classic Muse-sounding lead single, “Be With You,” was the most-added track this week at U.S. alternative radio stations and has already accrued more than three million global streams.

The accompanying video, directed by Nico Paolillo and starring Ella Balinska, leans into the album’s conceptual backbone — a mix of cosmic paranoia and sci-fi grandeur that feels on-brand for artists who once turned a concept album about drones into an arena spectacle.

The Wow! Signal is the follow-up to 2022’s Will of the People, which debuted at No. 1 in the band’s native U.K. and No. 15 on the Billboard 200.
