AC/DC 2026 Kick Off North American Tour with 21-Song Set of Classics

AC/DC launched the Summer 2026 North American leg of their “PWR/UP” tour on Saturday night, July 11th, in Charlotte, North Carolina, playing a 21-song set filled with classics.

The concert kicked off a 17-date stadium run that will run through a September 26th show in Philadelphia, and include stops in such cities as Las Vegas, San Francisco, Atlanta, Toronto, and East Rutherford, NJ (NYC metro area), among others. Pick up ticket here.

The legendary rock band opened its set with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It),” off their 1979 album Highway to Hell. The song was one of a number of tunes played from their ’70s era featuring late singer Bon Scott, who would have turned 80 years old this past Thursday, July 9th.

The most-represented album of the night, however, was Back in Black, the first to feature current and longtime singer Brian Johnson. AC/DC performed five songs from the mega-selling 1980 album, including the title track, “Have a Drink on Me,” “Hells Bells,” “Shoot to Thrill,” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.”

Two songs from AC/DC’s most recent album, Power Up — “Demon Fire” and “Shot in the Dark” — made the setlist, which wrapped up with an explosive encore of  “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”

The Pretty Reckless, led by singer Taylor Momsen, provided support, as they’ve done on the tour’s previous legs. The band played a 10-song set, including three tunes from their brand-new album, Dear God.
