If you’ve ever wanted to step foot on board Alien‘s Nostromo, one of the most iconic movie spaceships of all time, you’re going to have to take a trip over to Barcelona, Spain.
Luis Escribano, who goes by the name Luis Nostromo on social media for obvious reasons, has taken it upon himself to recreate the Nostromo’s ship interiors by hand, designing his own “Alien Museum” that’s open for hour-long tours to fellow Alien franchise fans. And it’s only the beginning of Luis’s quest, as he plans on going bigger and better in the coming years.
Luis writes over on Patreon, “I have created a small recreation of Alien‘s ship but my idea in the future is to recreate the other scenarios and for that I need your help. Get a bigger place so that you can finally walk through a replica of the Nostromo and experience the feeling of being in the movie. If you contribute your grain of sand, this can become a reality in Barcelona.”
Even without any upgrades or additions, Luis’s homemade “Alien Museum” is already impressive enough as is, with a highly detailed recreation of a Nostromo corridor leading into a Narcissus-inspired room and even a “Hadley’s Hope corridor” that pays tribute to Aliens. The entire museum is also loaded with props and collectibles from the Alien movies.
“There will be a last room for ALIEN³ and the rest of the movies, Alien Resurrection, Prometheus and Alien Covenant,” Luis notes, teasing more future plans for the DIY museum.
