Sebastian Kidder, the stepson of professional wrestler Ric Flair, has died at the age of 24. Kidder was also known as an up-and-coming musician. His mother Wendy Barlow had confirmed the news of his passing.
Kidder’s Death Is Currently Under Police Investigation
At this time, Kidder’s death is believed to have been a suicide. It’s also believed he suffered a gunshot wound late this past Saturday. Kidder was in a Georgia family home.
Police are currently investigating Kidder’s death. Many of the circumstances surrounding his passing are also unclear at this time. He was 24 at the time of his passing.
In a statement, Barlow shared that, “I am devastated and shocked. This is an epidemic with your young men. And mental health.”
As noted by TMZ Sports, Kidder was starting to have success with his music in the months leading up to his death. He notably appeared on Fox’s Good Day Atlanta this past summer where he played one of his songs.
Sebastian Kidder Had A Self-Published Music Album
On Instagram, Barlow promoted the release of Kidder’s upcoming album. Giving the following details, she shared: “I am so excited to announce the release of My Son Sebastian’s first album.”

On his own Instagram account, Kidder had thanked fans for streaming his music: “I’m literally speechless right now! Over 100,000 streams of Under the Moon! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone listening!”
Kidder also had a few acting appearances under his belt. According to IMDB, he appeared in the 2020 film, 12 Hour Shift, and the 2014 film, Buried Cain. He also appeared as himself in an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap.
At this time, Flair, who married Barlow back in 2018, has not addressed Kidder’s death. The wrestler was known for being a part of his stepson’s life for nearly a decade and a half, with him and Barlow being a couple for years before they married.
