It May Be the House of Gucci, but Gaga Is

Lady Gaga has ever so appropriately continued to wear Gucci throughout her House of Gucci press tour to get us hyped up for her role as Patrizia Reggiani in the upcoming Ridley Scott film. But sometimes a woman just needs a little Versace in her life, as proven by this spectacular laced satin corset gown. Gaga chose the look, inspired by details from the spring/summer 1995 collection, for the Milan premiere, showing off its every angle in her usual theatrical poses.

The design came with a thigh-high leg slit and train, drawing attention to her pointed-toe platforms in the exact same shade. They were tall and towering, but let’s be honest, if you’re familiar with Gaga’s footwear collection, then you know these are just child’s play for the multi-hyphenate fashion icon and platform devotee.

The outfit was complete with Tiffany & Co. chainlink jewelry to match her metallic eyeshadow and starburst earrings. “I cried all day doing press in Milan. I am so grateful and humbled to be in our movie #HouseOfGucci. Coming Thanksgiving! Father, Son, and tonight…Haus of @Versace. ️️️” Gaga captioned a photo album full of pictures from the event on Instagram.

Ahead, see the stunning number that Donatella herself referred to as “grace and elegance personified,” also deeming Lady Gaga the Versace house’s leading lady. Who else?
