Unverified celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi set off one of 2023’s most unexpected dating rumors yesterday when it posted submissions from multiple sources alleging Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been secretly seeing each other. Twitter spiraled unsurprisingly, and no source has clarified what’s really going on to a more traditional news outlet. DeuxMoi ran submissions from multiple sources claiming Jenner and Chalamet have been happening since January.

Obviously neither Jenner, Chalamet, nor their reps have addressed the rumors yet. Jenner’s most recent breakup from her boyfriend and father of her two children, Travis Scott, was reported in January. Scott was not on Jenner’s New Year’s Eve vacation, but a DeuxMoi source claiming they were on the trip too said Chalamet was. Jenner and Scott largely kept their relationship private when they were on.
Still, Us Weekly ran a report yesterday saying Scott, who got attention earlier this month for commenting “a beauty” on Jenner’s Instagram, could eventually end up reconciling with her again. Jenner and Scott have been on-off through their relationship.
The source said, “Kylie’s friends genuinely don’t believe that her and Travis are done for good. They’ve always had an on-and-off relationship, so this is nothing new to them. They truly feel like the love is still there and that they’ll find their way back to each other again.”
“They’re always in constant communication and Travis is likely going to spend Easter with Kylie and the kids,” the source continued. “They have a great coparenting relationship, but her friends feel like their bond goes way deeper than that. They definitely haven’t given up hope on them reconciling and feel like it’s just a matter of time.”
