Olivia Culpo is engaged to NFL star Christian McCaffrey, and her ring is just as thoughtful as his proposal. The former Miss Universe said yes to the San Francisco 49ers running back on April 2 during an RV trip in Utah. Leading up to the proposal, McCaffrey worked with Ring Concierge to create a design “that encompassed Olivia’s trendsetting style while still remaining timeless,” said Nicole Wegman, the jewelry brand’s founder and CEO. The final product features a large oval-cut diamond with two smaller epaulette side stones on a gold and platinum setting.

“Christian knew Olivia loves Ovals so we selected this perfectly cut beauty to craft her ring around,” Ring Concierge wrote on its Instagram Stories while showing off the massive gem. From there, the jewelers hand-selected two five-sided diamonds to complement the main stone and add even more sparkle.

Culpo and McCaffrey were first rumored to be dating after vacationing together in Mexico in 2019. Culpo soon after wore McCaffrey’s Panthers jersey to a game, seemingly confirming the speculation. Since then, the two have been inseparable, sharing their mutual love and respect for each other on social media and even getting a dog together. (His name is Oliver Sprinkles, and yes, he has his own Instagram account.)

“Three years ago I was not looking for a relationship,” Culpo wrote on Instagram in honor of her three-year anniversary with McCaffrey last summer. “When my best friends Kristen & Tyler called me and asked if I would be open to meeting their friend Christian I was apprehensive. I was worried it would be the same old story all over again and that all guys were the same. . . . I’m so grateful for the voice inside me that told me to give love another chance. The yin to my yang, you are the epitome of strength through humility. Thank you for being my rock and restoring my faith in love.”
