Channeling her character’s goddess energy, the star wore an embellished naked gown from Elie Saab’s fall 2022 couture collection. The sheer dress was covered in strips of gold and silver sequins and crystals adhered to a nearly invisible mesh material that exposed her nude underwear.
With its plunging neckline, built-in choker necklace, and light-blue satin train, the dress commanded attention on the red carpet as Zegler posed with boyfriend Josh Andrés Rivera, as well as costars Lucy Liu, Meagan Good, Helen Mirren, and Faithe Herman. Celebrity stylist Sarah Slutsky helped Zegler select the gown and her accessories, which included several mixed-metal rings, gold platform heels, and dangly crystal earrings. She’s been showing different sides to her style while promoting “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” wearing everything from a sheer black Dior gown embroidered with flowers to a silk Christopher Kane dress with unexpected side cutouts. The 21-year-old actor is also starring in “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” later this year, so she’s sure to turn out many more show-stopping looks in 2023.
