Johnny Depp comments for the first time on an audio recording of evidence of self-harm

58-year-old American actor Johnny Depp spoke for the first time about an audio recording in which he asks his ex-wife, 36-year-old actress Amber Heard , to cut him with a knife and also injure himself. It is reported by USA Today.
At one of the recent court hearings in the case of the divorce of American actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, the latter played an audio recording in which you can hear how the star of the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean” asks the ex-wife to cut him with a knife and also tries to injure herself with a sharp object in while the artist is trying to calm her ex-husband.

According to Heard, the conversation was recorded in 2016 during their meeting in San Francisco. Prior to this, Amber publicly stated that she was the victim of domestic violence by Johnny.
Depp spoke in court about the audio playback, saying that at that moment, he had already lost his nerve from the numerous accusations from his ex-wife. “I was confused that she wanted to hang out with me. Then, all the news was that I allegedly did all these terrible things,” said the artist.

“I had a cutter in my pocket; I just took it out and said, ‘Here, cut me, that’s what you want to do. In the end, you took everything. Do you want my blood? Take this. Drink my blood.’ But she refused,” Depp said in court.
The actor also added that due to public accusations from Heard and a high-profile scandal, his children suffered, which was another reason for such behavior of the star during a meeting of ex-spouses in San Francisco.
