‘Bird Box Barcelona’ Trailer Continues Netflix’s Horror Tale

Bird Box was one of Netflix’s biggest hits. The whole thing was spawned right off of the heels of A Quiet Place. In one film you can’t make a sound or else you will be attacked by the baddies. In Bird Box, you can’t see or else you risk being infected and dying. Same sort of idea dealing with the senses. Ironically, both films also spawned franchises underneath them.

Bird Box Barcelona is the first of the Bird Box franchise. It expands the story and will tell the tale of what is occurring to humans on the other side of the planet as the outbreak wipes out humanity. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of Bird Box, but I know that it did have quite a lot of fans.

The synopsis for Netflix’s Bird Box Went like this:

When a mysterious force decimates the population, only one thing is certain — if you see it, you die. The survivors must now avoid coming face to face with an entity that takes the form of their worst fears. Searching for hope and a new beginning, a woman and her children embark on a dangerous journey through the woods and down a river to find the one place that may offer sanctuary. To make it, they’ll have to cover their eyes from the evil that chases them — and complete the trip blindfolded.

Bird Box Barcelona stars Mario Casas, Georgina Campbell, Diego Calva, Alejandra Howard, Naila Schuberth, Patrick Criado, Celia Freijeiro with Lola Dueñas, Gonzalo de Castro, Michelle Jenner and Leonardo Sbaraglia.

Bird Box Barcelona arrives on Netflix beginning July 14.
