Another day, another international mystery series to love. This week sees The Snow Girl snatch the #3 spot in non-English TV shows. It’s also comfortably hanging out at #5 in the US Netflix trending shows.

Synopsis via Netflix:

Malaga, 2010, Three Wise Men parade. The most magical moment of the year turns into a nightmare for the Martín family when their daughter Amaya disappears in the crowd. Miren, a trainee journalist, begins an investigation parallel to that of Inspector Millán that will awaken aspects of her past that she would have liked to forget. With the help of her journalist colleague Eduardo, Miren will not stop until she finds the girl. Where is Amaya Martín?

The Snow Girl is based on the novel La chica de nieve by Javier Castillo. The series is written by Jesús Mesas and Javier Andrés Roig. David Ulloa and Laura Alvea directed the thrilling episodes. The show stars Milena Smit, Jose Coronado, Loreto Mauleón, and Tristán Ulloa. All six episodes are currently streaming on Netflix.
