    Fantastic Fest 2022 Films Include ‘Terrifier 2,’ Timothée Chalamet’s ‘Bones

    The best genre festival to have ever festival’d is upon us once again. That’s right y’all chaos reigns in Austin, Texas for the 17th year from September 22 to September 29. Another brilliant gathering filled with a ton of mind-altering genre films, world premieres and more.

    The festival is made up of the above-mentioned ton of amazing genre films. In addition throughout the week, there is also live podcast recordings that include Leonard Maltin, Scripts Gone Wild and Screen Drafts. Also, other things you didn’t know you needed in your life including a bar that features robots preparing your cocktails. But wait, there’s more! a live performance by the sonic occult drums, and lashing sounds of Itchy-O.

    “It’s been far too long since we’ve all been able to gather together and celebrate film the Fantastic Fest way,” Festival Director Lisa Dreyer said. “We’ve really put our all into crafting an extraordinary week, from the exceptional programming that spans exciting discoveries to highly-anticipated features, to our signature events that will inject a much-needed dose of fun into 2022.”

    This is just a portion of all the insanely great events and films going down. I say it every single year and year by year, I get a few folks convinced to go and hang in Austin for Fantastic Fest. So, I’m hoping this year some more of you amazing iHorror readers come down and say hi!

    If you aren’t able to make it in person, Fantastic Fest 2022 is offering a great Fantastic Fest @Home option. This gives you access to virtual parties as well as a huge lineup of films to watch from home, along with a few surprises along the way.
