Well, it happened again. A production designer working on Scream accidentally leaked a photo of what could be the title for Scream. If you recall the same thing happened with the fifth Scream. It was almost the exact same situation in fact. It happened when the back of a crew member’s chair was accidentally posted to their socials.
Well once again, a production designer who posted to Instagram (and has since deleted the post) may have accidentally revealed the official title for the sixth Scream in the franchise.
In the video Scream!! was seen written on the back of Tyler Gillette’s chair. Of course, this could be someone trying to mislead, but the way it was revealed and then deleted seems like it was indeed someone playing damage control after a leak.
Since the fifth Scream film was titled plain old “Scream,” it would make sense that this film would be the second film in that line. So, instead of making that a boring old Scream II, it appears that they are going with Scream !!.
The entire naming game on these reboots is getting out of control. But, we do have to admit that we do like the way Scream !! reads. Given a choice of Scream 6, Scream II, or Scream !!, we are going to choose Scream !!.
For now, we are going to have to take this bit of info with a grain of salt but in most cases, information off of Hellosydney.com is mostly legit.
