‘Orphan: First Kill’ Gets Creepy Black Light Poster

Black Mirror is finally on its way back. The humanity vs technology Twilight Zone series is one of the bleakest around thanks to its creator Charlie Brooker. The newest season is in the works of production currently and it sounds like actress Zazie Beetz has wrapped her episode up.

While out doing press for Bullet Train, the actress was asked about her episode of Black Mirror. Without getting into any spoilers Beetz gave some answers that are very Black Mirror.

“I just came off of shooting that, actually. I just shot that in June,” Beetz told Deadline. “I wouldn’t say my character is having a lot of fun, but…I think there’s a really great tongue-in-cheek dark element to it, premonition kind of element. The mirror reflecting back on us.”

The synopsis for Black Mirror goes like this:

Set in a world only minutes from our own, “Black Mirror”, a UK and USA non-hosted anthology series; unveils how modern technologies can backfire and be used against their makers, every episode set in a slightly different reality with different characters combating different types of technologies.

We will be sure to keep you updated on all things Black Mirror as the new season wraps up production and as we get news of a release date. We have high hopes for this season’s episodes. The world really hit a brick wall with COVID. So, it’s going to take a lot to compare to our real world horrors.
