David Bruckner warped our minds with his beautiful nightmare titled The Night House. The film was an ode to Clive Barker without saying it was an ode to Clive Barker. The film was masterful. If you haven’t watched it yet, do yourself a huge favor and give it a watch. The reason we bring up Bruckner is because his mind is working to bring us Hellraiser over at Hulu.
A while back we shared the good news thatJamie Clayton was going to be our new Hellpriest, which we are dying to see in action. Along with the Hellpriest are her disciples the cenobites.
Along with the great casting and great director, we also have Super Dark Times‘ writers Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski. Pssst. If you haven’t seen Super Dark Times, please go and watch it as well.

Today, Hulu’s Hellraiser received its official R-rating for “Strong bloody horror violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual content, and brief graphic nudity.” As is tradition! We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Clive Barker is onboard as a producer for a version of Hellraiser that is said to be a loyal and evolved reimagining of the original goopy and gory 1987 Hellraiser.
We aren’t entirely sure what that means, but you know what? With the team members listed above all being involved, we are very okay with whatever the finished product is. We can’t wait to see this thing.
We don’t have a release date on Bruckner’s Hellraiser but we will be sure to keep you updated. Stay tuned!
