At the end of Terrifier 2, we see final girl Sienna Shaw decapitate the villainous clown after an epic final battle. Thinking she’s victorious against the demented Art the Clown, she walks away, not knowing that there’s more to this creature than meets the eye. Now, writer, director, and series creator Damien Leone is resurrecting Art in Terrifier 3.

This time, Art the Clown is getting ready to deck the halls with guts and organs as he terrorizes Miles County yet again, this time on Christmas Eve. Yes, that’s right, Terrifier 3 is going holiday horror and we couldn’t be more excited.

But wait, there’s more! Leone took to Twitter this morning to reveal that they just filmed yet another horrific scene for the Terrifier series, so horrific that it may have made someone throw up on set.

Read Leone’s tweet below:

Can honestly say we just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise and you’ll never believe who couldn’t handle it on set ?? ? the bts is hilarious. Can’t wait for you all to see! #terrifier3 #areyouready #comingsoon

Leone is only stoking the fires of the hype train, which never really stopped after the successful theatrical run for Terrifier 2 in 2022. The highly anticipated sequel hit theaters last October and grossed over $10 million at the box office as its initially planned one-week run turned into a four-week run. Its success shocked the industry and proved the power of indie horror filmmaking.

David Howard Thornton, who plays the devious art, and Lauren LaVera, who joined the series in the last film as the new horror icon Sienna Shaw, are slated to return for Terrifier 3. Elliot Fullam (Sienna’s brother Jonathan) and Samantha Scaffidi (Victoria Heyes from Terrifier) also return.

Terrifier 3 is set to hit theaters just in time for Halloween on October 25, 2024.
