Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to join Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy in an untitled comedy feature for Netflix, according to a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter.
Hill and Murphy were already attached to the project that is set to be directed by Emmy nominee Kenya Barris (Black-ish), who will make his directorial debut with the film. The report notes that Louis-Dreyfus is set to portray Hill’s mother in the film. No exact plot details are known, but The Hollywood Reporter describes the film as “an incisive examination of modern love and family dynamics,” with Murphy and Hill on opposite sides of a cultural divide that will shape their relationships.
Currently, no other cast members have been announced as of yet, but trio of Murphy, Hill, and Louis-Dreyfus sets the stage for what could be a great movie, and one that will surely draw tons of interest from fans everywhere.
