The new photos show us what looks to be an area of London that seems to have gone through some sort of catastrophic event. Cars can be seen bumped into one another, statues and rubble litter the streets, and perhaps most important, the prop for a black, squid-like creature is seen splayed out in the road. It’s unclear what exactly this creature will be in the upcoming series, but with the show set to follow the Skrull invasion of Earth, it’ll likely play a key role.

Also included in the set photos is a picture of a copy of The National Reporter, a newspaper in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On the front page is the MCU President of the United States meeting with none other than Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine, portrayed by Don Cheadle.

Disney+’s Secret Invasion is set as a crossover comic event series showcasing a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. It will be led by MCU mainstay Samuel L. Jackson as he reprises his role as Nick Fury for the twelfth time in live-action since first portraying the character in 2008’s Iron Man. He will be teaming up with Captain Marvel‘s Ben Mendelsohn, who is returning as Talos, the pseudo-leader of the Skrulls.
