Aerosmith have announced what they are calling their final tour: The Peace Out Tour is set to run from September 2023 to January 2024. The band will be joined by the Black Crowes for the farewell tour. Find Aerosmith’s tour dates below.
Singer Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarists Joe Perry and Ray Tabano formed Aerosmith in 1970. Tabano left the group and was replaced by Brad Whitford before Aerosmith released their self-titled debut in 1973. The band has gone on to release 14 more studio albums, the most recent of which, Music From Another Dimension!, came out in November 2012.
Joey Kramer will not be performing on Aerosmith’s Peace Out Tour, just as he did not take part in the 2022 dates of the group’s Las Vegas residency. Instead, John Douglas will drum in Kramer’s place. In a statement, Aerosmith explained: “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
Steven Tyler was recently sued by a woman who claims that the musician sexually assaulted and sexually battered her when she was a minor in the 1970s. Tyler has denied the allegations.
