Bartees Strange has shared a new song called “Weights.” The track appears on the forthcoming digital deluxe edition of his 2020 debut LP Live Forever. Listen to “Weights” below.
“This is about the ones that got away,” Bartees Strange said of “Weights” in a press release. “Going back and forth in my head about relationships that could have happened, missing that it didn’t, and finally realizing I gotta let the weight of it all go.”
The expanded version of Live Forever arrives October 1. The digital release will feature a new take on the track “Kelly Rowland,” titled “Free Kelly Rowland” and featuring Armand Hammer. There will also be a song called “Flagey God Redux.”
