You just released a brand new song! Will you tell us about that?
Yes, I just did. It’s called “CALL MY NAME”, it’s a song about love, romance, feelings about waking up next to your loved one and seeing their smile, which reminds you of the bright sunny day. The song is giving lots of positive energy. It’s dance pop with a Latin flair.
What was a highlight of the creative process for the song?
The song was written by my guitarist, Firdaus, who also played the Latin guitar in the song. I wrote the lyrics. It was a pop song originally, and he did the magic into transforming it into dance pop with a Latin touch.
What about your music would you say is rebellious or unconventional?
I would say unconventional, since it’s mostly pop or dance pop with a Latin flair. Something new and songwriting has set me free.
Has your musical journey had a deliberate direction, or did it gradually evolve in the direction you found?
It gradually evolved in the direction I found while working with my guitarist and discovering my style.
What are your top three albums of all time?
Oral Fixation 1&2, Laundry Service, and Vision of Love
Top three artists to listen to on any given day?
Shakira, Sia, Maluma, Enrique Iglesias. Those are my top four lol
Any upcoming projects you want to talk about?
The next song is definitely Latin pop, another dance pop with Latin flair.
