Jack White is going to be the musical guest on the February 25 episode of Saturday Night Live. Woody Harrelson will host the episode, which will mark White’s first appearance on the NBC program since 2020. White’s appearance will follow 2023 SNL performances from Sam Smith, Lil Baby, and Coldplay.
White performed “Lazaretto” and a medley of the White Stripes’ “Ball and Biscuit,” Beyoncé’s “Don’t Hurt Yourself,” and Willie Johnson’s “Jesus Is Coming Soon” on Saturday Night Live in October 2020. He was on the program as a replacement for country star Morgan Wallen, who was ousted from the show for violating COVID-19 protocols by partying without a mask. Before the 2020 appearance, White had performed on SNL in 2018 (when he was also part of a strange sketch), in 2012, and in 2002 as a member of the White Stripes.
White released two albums last year, Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive. The White Stripes were recently nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
