The Lemonheads have announced a 2022 North American tour to mark the 30th anniversary of their album It’s a Shame About Ray. Serving as support will be a rotating cast of former member Juliana Hatfield (who played on the LP), Rusty, The Nils, Bass Drum of Death, and On Being An Angel.

The trek starts in Lititz, Pennsylvania on November 17th, with subsequent stops in Toronto, Seattle, Chicago, New York City, DC, and more before wrapping on December 17th in Boston. See the full schedule below.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 12th. Grab them via Ticketmaster then. A pre-sale will precede the public on-sale beginning on Thursday, Aug 11th (use code APPLAUSE). Ahead of the North American run, the Lemonheads will play a string of dates in Ireland and the UK. Tickets for those shows are available here.

The Lemonheads’ last studio album was 2019’s Varshons 2. Frontman Evan Dando performed a short set in a Walgreens that found his lost wallet in March 2021, and earlier this year, he went on a Twitter rant after the Lemonheads were fired from Jawbreaker’s tour, calling the latter band “pussies.”
