Damnation: Damnation’s single season premiered on the USA Network in 2017 and can now be viewed on Netflix. Production took place around the Calgary area.

Heartland: This CBC show is the longest running drama series in Canadian history with a huge following across the globe. Heartland is mostly filmed in High River as well as locations across Canada.

Lost In Space: Netflix brought production to Drumheller for season 2 of Lost In Space and was recently renewed for a third season.

Jann: Jann Arden returned home to Calgary for production on her new CTV comedy. Season two has recently wrapped and will premiere in 2020.

Black Summer: Black Summer had a very successful first season and even earned praise from Stephen King. Season 2 is currently filming in Alberta and stars Jaime King.

Fargo: Fargo has received tremendous success since the beginning of Season One. Production took place in Alberta before moving to Chicago for the fourth season and starred various actors over the years including, Billy Bob Thornton, Kirsten Dunst and Ewan McGregor.

Fortunate Son: Fortunate Son premiered on CBC this year and stars Darren Mann as an American who’s crossed the border into Canada to avoid the Vietnam War Draft

Hell On Wheels: All five seasons of Hell on Wheels took place in southern Alberta. The show earned many award nominations including an Emmy Award and multiple BET Best Actor Awards for Common’s role as a recently freed slave.

Tribal: Tribal is a police drama and premiered on the APTV Network in 2020 and has already been renewed for second season.

Tin Star: Tim Roth portrays an alcoholic police officer living in a fictional town located in the Canadian Rockies. The first two season of Tin Star were shot in the Alberta area before moving to Liverpool for production on season 3.
