A Sit Down With Lena Pham

Lena, the rising star in the pop music scene, navigates her way through the music industry, Lena is proving that she’s a force to be reckoned with. Today, we’re excited to dive deeper into her journey, creative process, and what’s next for her career.

Your music has been described as fresh and unique. How would you describe your sound, and what influences have shaped it?

I see music as an outlet for self expression. My sound embodies me and my emotions. It is vulnerable and provides insight into who I am as a person. I typically write a lot of pop music that I feel conveys that feelings of a teenage girl. I am inspired by my own emotions and events around me.

As an up-and-coming artist, what has been the most surprising or challenging part of your journey so far?

It is hard not to feel imposter syndrome sometimes. Everyone has a unique sounds and gift and it is hard not to compare yourself sometimes. However I also see this as something inspiring. There is so much beauty in everyone’s art and I draw a lot of creativity and inspiration from people around me.

Can you share a bit about your songwriting process? Where do you draw your inspiration from, and how do you translate that into your music?

As aforemethioned, I channel the emotions and feelings I experience in everyday life to create music. Whether that is communicated in lyrics or in the melodic composition of the song, each piece has a message and a meaning. Music is a means of communication for me and I want to create songs that are relatable and touches my audience.

You’ve gained a lot of attention in a short period on tiktok. How has the rapid rise affected you personally and professionally?

It warms my heart that people are interested in what I have to say and that they can use it to form conversations with other people in the community. Professionally speaking, it excites me that listeners will have a chance to hear music and art that I am so passionate about.

What can fans expect from you in the near future? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations that you’re excited about?

I am working on new songs and am so grateful to partner with some exciting brands. I cannot wait to show the world!

Lena, thank you so much for sharing your story with us today. We’re excited to see where your journey takes you and can’t wait to hear more of your music. Best of luck with your career—we’ll be rooting for you!
