Wendy Williams recently opened up about her life amid various health issues during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. However, during the conversation, she opened up about one figure in particular. She shared a prediction about Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been facing various legal troubles since his arrest back in September.
Williams Made A Prediction On What Will Happen To Diddy Following His Trial
The Breakfast Club is a radio show based in New York City, with it airing throughout the United States. Hosts include Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious.
Recently, a well-known figure called into the show: Wendy Williams of The Wendy Williams Show fame. Notably, the star had talked about her life amid various health issues.
As noted by The New York Post, during the conversation, Williams also discussed a well-known figure: Sean “Diddy” Combs. Back in September, Combs was indicted for various charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His legal team had attempted to see the mogul released on house arrest.
However, Combs’ legal team has since given up on the bail proposals after a third attempt had been rejected by a judge. At this time, it is believed that Combs will await his upcoming trial, which is scheduled for May, while at the detention center.
However, it’s the trial that will decide how much longer Combs will be behind bars. While speaking on The Breakfast Club, Williams predicted, “Diddy will go to prison for life, people.”
Wendy Williams’s Contempt For Diddy Goes A Long Way
Williams claimed to know more about what was going on than most. As she noted, “You don’t know things that I knew about Diddy back in the day.”
Williams added, “And you know what, it’s about time.” She continued, “It is about time. Diddy done.”
As The New York Post noted, there is some history to Williams’ feelings towards Combs. The publication noted Williams accused Combs of getting her fired from her own Hot 97 show back in 1998.
It was also noted that she described a “certain level of contempt for Puff” in her 2004 book, The Wendy Williams Experience. She continued, “The hell he put me through. I will never forget. But I don’t hate him.”
Williams’ recent comments also brought to mind comments made back in 2019 on her namesake talk show. At the time, she noted, “Once upon a time, there was a music mogul who sent his all-girl group to beat my ass in front of the radio station.”
“Fact! I finished my shift, round up my headphones, put my bag [on] my arm and I see everybody lined up at the window looking down on the sidewalk.”
