For over 50 phenomenal years, Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone has been one of the cinema’s most prominent movie stars, with the veteran actor having appeared in countless knockouts, including the enduring Rocky franchise, First Blood, Cliffhanger, The Suicide Squad, and The Expendables series (to name just a few in his ever-growing repertoire). At 78 years old, Stallone remains a force to be reckoned with on both the big and small screen and currently stars in the Taylor Sheridan-created crime drama Tulsa King while also appearing alongside Scott Eastwood in the newly released action thriller Alarum.
In the pulse-pounding flick, Stallone portrays a seasoned spy who is sent to hunt down a top-secret hard drive believed to be in the possession of rogue agents who ran off to be together in order to start a new life. Naturally, it doesn’t take long until bullets start flying, and the body count starts to rise as violent mercenaries and opposing intelligence agencies show up to claim the hard drive for themselves. Despite earning less-than-rave reviews upon its release, Alarum is still a must-see for Stallone fans and is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats as the brutal action unfolds.

Silver screen legend Sylvester Stallone is back and ready for another adventure in the action crime thriller Alarum, appearing alongside famous faces including Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, and Mike Colter in an exciting film that focuses on former globe-trotting spies Joe Travers and Laura as they leave their dangerous, high-stakes profession behind them after they unexpectedly fall in love, with the duo going rogue to run off together and start new. Five years after disappearing and acclimating to civilian life, the newlyweds find their peaceful honeymoon compromised when they are targeted by a group of violent mercenaries.

Sylvester Stallone Continues Doing What He Does Best
Though Alarum doesn’t break any new ground and relies heavily on tried-and-true movie clichés, it still features beloved action hero Sylvester Stallone doing exactly what he does best: kicking butt and taking names while showcasing his signature devil-may-care attitude and unflappable grit. Stallone truly doesn’t have to do much to fill movie theater seats and keep his devoted fan base hooked, and not every project the Hollywood veteran takes on has to be some hard-hitting, critically acclaimed masterpiece. Alarum features the acting great as a resilient man on a mission whose true motives and loyalties come into question and leave viewers thoroughly invested.
