Hulu Adds Ben Affleck’s Popular Action Thriller Movie Today for 10th Anniversary

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Ben Affleck‘s popular action thriller movie from 2016 has finally found a new streaming home in Hulu. During its theatrical run, the film has earned a gross of over $155 million at the worldwide box office.

What Ben Affleck movie is now available on Hulu?

As of today, Affleck’s 2016 action thriller movie The Accountant is now officially streaming on Hulu. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film still received a high Popcornmeter rating on Rotten Tomatoes with 77%. Besides Affleck, the all-star cast also included Anna Kendrick as Dana Cummings, J. K. Simmons as Raymond King, Jon Bernthal as Braxton, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Marybeth Medina, John Lithgow as Lamar Blackburn, Jean Smart as Rita Blackburn, and more. It was directed by Gavin O’Connor, with Bill Dubuque writing the screenplay.

“Christian Wolff (Affleck) is a mathematics savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Using a small-town CPA office as a cover, he makes his living as a freelance accountant for dangerous criminal organizations,” reads the official synopsis. “With a Treasury agent (Simmons) hot on his heels, Christian takes on a state-of-the-art robotics company as a legitimate client. As Wolff gets closer to the truth about a discrepancy that involves millions of dollars, the body count starts to rise.”

Last year, Amazon MGM Studios released the follow-up movie to the 2016 movie, with Affleck and Bernthal reprising their roles. The R-rated sequel was once again directed by O’Connor. Unlike its predecessor, the 2025 movie was received much better by critics. It currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 75%, which is 22% higher than the first installment’s approval rating.
