Riley Green is known to many for his work in music. However, he is set to make his debut as an actor on the Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals. Since then, fans have already been sharing their reactions on social media.

Riley Green, Who Signed With Nashville Harbor Back In 2019, Will Appear On Marshals

Green is an American country music singer and songwriter who started his career around 2013. He has been signed to Nashville Harbor since 2019. He is known for songs like “There Was This Girl” and “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.”

However, Green is set to add a new line of work to his resume. He is making his acting debut with the Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals. He even shared the news on social media, complete with another surprise for fans.

This spin-off made its debut this past March. The series revolves around Luke Grimes’ Kayce Dutton as he joins a specialized group of U.S. Marshals protecting Montana.

In the scene, Green plays Kayce’s old friend Garrett. However, as he walks across his property, the two don’t seem to act like friends at all, at least at first.

In a clip, Kayce asks, “You lost?” Garrett replies, “Not if I’m trying to figure out where all the cowboys have gone,” likely a reference to the Paula Cole song.

For a moment, Kayce’s new teammates think that Garrett is bringing trouble. However, he and Kayce soon give each other a hug and start to catch up, revealing that they served tours together in Afghanistan.

Green Also Shared Another Surprise With Fans In Another Teaser Clip

The moment ends on a teaser, with Kayce and Garrett sharing that they were once part of a group called the “Four Musketeers” with Cal. Of course, there is the question of who the fourth member is, as asked by Kayce’s son, Tate.

According to Taste of Country, Green will appear in the eighth episode of the first season, “Blowback.” The episode is expected to air on April 19, 2026.

As a description read, “The Marshals go manhunting after receiving a tip that a dangerous fugitive is on the loose. Kayce and Cal struggle to reckon with their time at war when a former SEAL brother, Garrett (Riley Green), drifts back into their lives as they hunt a vicious enemy.”

Green himself shared the clip in a joint post with Taste of Country‘s post. At this time, even if he is cutting his teeth as an actor, Green still has more music to share with fans. On social media, he’s also been teasing his new song, “My Way.”

With the recent share on social media, fans have also been sharing their reactions to the recent clip of Green on Marshals. A few are hoping to see him on the show for quite a while. Some comments included:

    • “Can’t wait to watch Riley Green.”
    • “I’m loving Riley on Marshals already. Keep him on a regular basis.”
    • “Good show. Great Marshalls team. Garrett will fit right in.”
    • “Aww this is gonna be sweet.”
    • “My wife is all of sudden interested in the Marshal‘s now too. Weird.”
