Lee Cronin’s The Mummy Post-Credits Scene Status Revealed

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is finally here in the theatres, and with a fascinating plot and world-building, fans are curious to know if they missed something from the film, like a post-credit or mid-credit scene. Here’s a breakdown of whether the new supernatural horror film featured any extra scenes at or after the credits.

Does Lee Cronin’s The Mummy have a post- or mid-credits scene at the end?

No, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy does not have any post-credit or mid-credit scenes. While it has become increasingly common for films, especially those with the potential to build a whole world or have future sequels. But this new horror film does not have any such elements, and the story comes to an end right when the final scene closes.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy acts as a reimagining of the The Mummy franchise. So far, there have been no talks of a sequel. Perhaps that could be the primary reason there was no post-credit scene in the film.

Helmed by Lee Cronin, the film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Verónica Falcón. Horror veterans James Wan and Jason Blum are producers in the film.

The synopsis for the film reads, “The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she’s returned to them. However, what should be a joyful reunion soon turns into a living nightmare as she starts to transform into something truly horrifying.”

It premiered theatrically on April 9, 2026, in Los Angeles and had a full release on April 17, 2026. So far, it has received mixed reviews from critics so far. It stands at 53% on Rotten Tomatoes and at 46 on Metacritic.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is now playing in theatres across the United States.
