Whoopi Goldberg has been part of a number of prominent relationships, having gone to the altar three times. With her career on The View, she has also often weighed in on love and marriage. Recently, the star discussed what could be in her future during a recent interview.

The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg Recently Talked About Love With Keke Palmer

Goldberg is an actress and comedian with a career spanning decades, appearing in films including Ghost, Sister Act, The Lion King, and The Color Purple. However, in recent years, she has become known for her role as a co-host and moderator on The View.

In her personal life, Goldberg has been attached to many high-profile relationships. She has been married three times, to Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg. More recently, she was in a relationship with Frank Langella from 1995 to 2000.

Recently, Goldberg opened up about marriage and relationships during a recent appearance on the podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer. Towards the end of the conversation, Goldberg was asked about comments she made in 2016 about wanting someone living in her house.

For the time being, however, Goldberg felt that she was already in a “relationship” with her family. As she noted, this is who she is already spending most of her time with.

Goldberg explained, “They are enough. They drop their stuff everywhere.” As she continued, “I don’t need I don’t need somebody I kind of just met like 10 years ago or whatever. I don’t need them in the house. I’m just barely dealing with all the family in the house.”

Goldberg Has Also Often Discussed What She Wants In A Relationship On The View

Elsewhere, Goldberg shared that she isn’t too interested in relationships for the time being since she doesn’t “want to have to think about you.” She explained, “I don’t want to have to think about what your needs are, why you’re upset. I don’t want to have to answer questions about why you’re mad at me. I’m happy for you to be at your house. I love a hit-and-run.”

Goldberg noted that there is pressure to make yourself feel “less than” to support your partner. She continued, “Lots of people let themselves be diminished by their partner. And I don’t think that’s a good thing for anybody. This is one of the reasons for me that I don’t mind being not attached.”

As fans know, love and relationships are topics that Goldberg has often discussed on The View. In the past, she has expressed a preference for casual relationships, since they avoid the “responsibilities” normally expected in other partnerships.
