Keep reading for more details of what she went through.
Paris Jackson Tried To End Her Life
Growing up as one of Michael Jackson’s children is not an easy task. Paris Jackson was forced to wear a mask as a little girl, which could not have been easy. Furthermore, her father was constantly accused of molesting or inappropriately touching kids. This haunted him for most of his adult life and long after he passed away in 2009. Even now, in 2026, that is a part of his legacy, which is sad given what an incredible artist he was. Fortunately, Paris, who is his only daughter, has gained a lot of respect for how well-spoken she is.

She has been making her way around the podcast circuit and opening up about her childhood. Additionally, she spoke about trying to take her life. When she was 15, she had to get mental health treatment. This included electroconvulsive therapy, which Paris told Jay Shetty was incredibly painful. Now, the reason it hurt so badly was that the professionals allegedly wanted and needed to see how much pain medication they needed to give her. However, it also caused her amnesia. She explained that she woke up with intense pain on the side of her head.
Moreover, Paris Jackson explained that she had visitors while she was there. There was proof that she had people who came by. Yet, she had no recollection of this because of what she had been through.
