WashWise launched its Reset Spray in August 2026 and raised $1.2 million in pre-seed funding, according to a press release. “Everyone has experienced the moment where a piece of clothing isn’t dirty enough to wash, but doesn’t feel fresh enough to wear again,” Maria Cabral Menezes, Founder of WashWise, said. “We realized there was an entire part of a garment’s life that had been completely ignored.”
The Laundress also sells fabric sprays designed for refreshing garments between wears.
How Do You Use Dry Shampoo for Clothes?
Knowing how to use dry shampoo for clothes starts with a few simple steps.
WashWise recommends holding the spray 8 to 12 inches from the garment, applying a light mist and smoothing or gently tugging the fabric to release wrinkles. Let the item dry completely before wearing or storing it.
For delicate fabrics, test an inconspicuous area first. The Laundress gives the same advice for its sprays.
What Clothes Work Best With Dry Shampoo Sprays?
The best dry shampoo sprays for clothes are made for lightly worn pieces like blazers, denim, sweaters and dresses. Think items that still look clean but could use a quick refresh before you put them back on.
These products are not designed for heavily soiled clothing, sweaty gym gear, underwear or socks.
Can Dry Shampoo for Clothes Remove Stains?
