The Young and the Restless‘ recent episode took Nate and Stephanie’s bond to the next level. The duo shared intimate scenes, which Nate actor Sean Dominic saw coming from afar. Moreover, Dominic expressed his starstruckness at having Vivica A. Fox as his love interest and appreciated her humble personality, which made him feel at ease while filming.

In a recent conversation, Dominic opened up about Nate and Stephanie’s sex scene in The Young and the Restless, further sharing how other characters may react to it. He said, “They’re gonna have to set some people straight!” He revealed that he had speculated for a long time that their closeness might reach another level.
“I was like, ‘We’re doing a lot of talking!’ I was telling Bryton [James, Devon] and Christel [Khalil, Lily], ‘I think they’re about to hook Nate and Stephanie up!’ They were like, ‘For real? You think so?’ I was like, ‘Man, look at the writing. It’s not saying anything — but it’s saying something! There’s just no other way.”
He said that when he told his speculation to his castmates, he was only 90% sure. The 10% he was still uncertain, as there weren’t any dialogues in place that could hint towards the intimate storyline. However, he was sure that the hookup would possibly happen when Stephanie started making frequent visits to Nate’s place. He regretted that he didn’t bet on his strong instinct about the two characters.
He also described the “surreal” feeling of sharing the screen with Fox and being her on-screen love interest. While he was starstruck by her clearly on set, he revealed that Fox eventually helped him settle on set and eased the nervousness. “She’s so down-to-earth, she just cut that starstruck stuff down, you know what I mean? She’s so chill, so welcoming, speaks to everybody on set. She just made it easy, you know? There is no ego with Vivica,” he added (via Soap Opera Digest).
