So it was at The NY Wild Festival at The Explorers and a quick education in biodiversity and conservation that led Rhonda to become a member of The Explorers Club. Shortly after meeting world renowned Lemur Expert Dr Patricia Wright at a lecture sealed the deal. “Opportunity knocked” when Patricia Wright announced she was looking for volunteers to go to Madagascar. And a few months later Rhonda found herself in a remote international research station, studying lemurs, leeches, insects, and snakes, a totally different culture, and often living in the field in challenging conditions. It’s all about following your dreams and defining how you want to live your best life.
