We’ve got new series beginning and current series ending, with some really great TV to immerse ourselves in over the next week.
Here’s what we recommend you make room on your schedule to watch the week of May 25, 2025.
Sunday, May 25
Mobland (Paramount+)
What will the penultimate episode bring?
The walls are closing in on everyone as the battle between the Harrigans and the Stevensons comes to a head on Mobland Season 1 Episode 9, but you ain’t seen nothin’ like this Cotswalds dinner party before.
With only two episodes to go, there are still plenty of surprises ahead for the latest Paramount+ hit. You won’t want to be spoiled, so watch it as soon as you can!
Monday, May 26
Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders (Netflix)
There are moments in history when everything changes, and the Tylenol murders — still unsolved — marked one of those turning points.
This three-part Netflix docuseries revisits the tragedy through the eyes of victims’ families and the investigators tasked with tracking down a killer who altered American life forever.
Was it a lone wolf? Someone inside Johnson & Johnson? Will we ever know the full story? Probably not — and that lingering uncertainty makes The Tylenol Murders all the more chilling.
It’s a haunting reminder of how fragile our safety really is.
Tuesday, May 27
Dark Side of the Ring (Vice)
The sixth season finale of Dark Side of the Ring will showcase the story of Marc Copani, who wrestling fans would know better as Muhammad Hassan.
If you’re unfamiliar with the documentary series, each hour takes a look at a person, event, or even moment in the history of professional wrestling, and this hour will take a look at Copani, whose controversial ring persona came under intense scrutiny in the mid-2000s.
The series always does a great job of getting into the truth behind some of the biggest things in wrestling, with candid interviews and deep looks into events long since passed. This hour looks like it’ll be another interesting one that all wrestling fans should check out.
The Cleaning Lady (FOX)
We still don’t know if it’s the series finale, but it’s definitely a season finale, and everything comes to a head for Thony.
While we’re still peeved about her sexy time with the French doc, there’s some bigger business to address as Thony and Jorge must face off against enemies on all fronts, and Jorge catches wind of Ramona’s plans.
There’s also some teasing of a fatal consequence, but who could be the victim? It’s a must-see finale on the horizon, so check out the promo!
Alert: Missing Persons Unit (FOX)
We’re not even going to pretend as if we have much investment in this one, but there’s a morbid curiosity to see how this series will wrap things up this season.
There’s still no word on whether it’ll get renewed. Frankly, we’re doubtful, but that’s more of a reason to check out how it’ll end.
MPU is headed to prom, or at least searching for a limo filled with teens, one of whom is the senator’s daughter.
America’s Got Talent (NBC)
Can you believe this show has been on for 20 years?
Two decades and multiple different judges in, and we’re still tuning in every summer to watch some of the most brilliant, beautiful, creepy, weird, inspiring, and downright ridiculous acts as people across the globe compete for a chance to be America’s best talent.
It’s going to be a fantastic season!
Destination X (NBC)
If you haven’t had your fill of Jeffrey Dean Morgan on The Walking Dead: Dead City, you’ll be thrilled to see him hosting this adventure reality series.
Ten teams of people will hop aboard a blacked-out bus, get dropped off at an unknown location, and compete to reach a very important milestone destination with limited information and sheer will.
If you love Amazing Race and other adventure competition shows, you’ll love this one!
Wednesday, May 28
Adults (FX)
The first two episodes of the latest FX comedy series Adults will be hitting your screens this week, and it’s worth checking out!
We’ll have a season review after the series drops in full on Hulu the following day, but the series will continue to air two episodes weekly on FX through its eight-episode first season.
The series is Friends meets Shameless, and if you’re struggling to figure out how that can be, well then you should watch the series for yourself!
When a bunch of adults struggling to step into adulthood live together and try to figure out what comes next for them, you know shenanigans will ensue! And the shenanigans in this one are of the extra raunchy and hilarious variety.
Thursday, May 29
The Better Sister (Prime Video)
This star-studded crime thriller, based on the novel by Alafair Burke, centers on two sisters living wildly different lives.
One is a high-powered executive with a picture-perfect family. The other has battled addiction and struggled to find her place in the world. But when the husband of one is murdered, their shared secrets threaten to unravel everything.
Jessica Biel, Elizabeth Banks, and Kim Dickens bring gravitas to the screen. Will the story lean more into the realm of glossy female fiction and a truly gripping thriller, or will it be a breezy binge? Tune in to find out.
Hacks (Max)
After a tense season full of unexpected twists and turns, Hacks Season 4 is ending this Thursday.
Especially after the shell-shocking episode from last week, this season finale is bound to be explosive. We’ll be sure to see the episode address what will happen to Deborah’s critically acclaimed late-night show.
Last but not least, Ava and Deborah’s relationship has been tested and put through the ringer this season. Will the season finale see them standing together or facing even more conflict with each other? Only time will tell.
Dept. Q (Netflix)
Here’s all you REALLY need to know: Matthew Goode. Yes, he’s that good — and seeing his name alone is reason enough to press play.
Goode stars as a Gregory House–style detective in Edinburgh, sidelined after a traumatic shooting that left him injured, one officer dead, and his partner paralyzed. Banished to a basement cold case division, he expects to coast. But a determined administrative officer has other ideas.
Their first reopened case threatens to blow open a long-buried scandal, and what begins as a punishment turns into something far more dangerous.
If you’re a Matthew Goode fan or just love a good mystery, Dept. Q delivers. You won’t be moving off that couch.
Saturday, May 31
Mountainhead (Max)
Succession creator Jesse Armstrong returns to the HBO family, this time on Max, with another biting tale of corporate rot — this one with a darker, more apocalyptic twist.
Set in a remote mountaintop retreat, Mountainhead follows a cabal of billionaires watching the world crumble… largely due to their own doing.
Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Ramy Youssef, and Corey Michael Smith play the worst of the worst — and they’re all vying for the title.
Is there a clear winner in moral depravity? You’ll have to watch and decide for yourself.
