McDonald’s Boo Buckets Return This Month With Brand New Zombie & Cat Buckets!

McDonald’s is once again bringing back their classic “Boo Buckets” for the Halloween season, and the lineup – featuring two brand new buckets! – has been revealed this week.

Food blogger Markie Devo has previewed the Halloween 2025 Boo Buckets collection over on social media, revealing that the buckets will return to McDonald’s on October 21.

In addition to the classic Green Goblin, White Ghost and Orange Pumpkin buckets, brand new Red Zombie and Black Cat Boo Buckets will be available this Halloween!

The Zombie and Cat buckets will each feature three different faces, all of which you can preview in Markie Devo’s graphic below. Again, these are all available beginning October 21.

You’ll be able to grab a Boo Bucket Happy Meal with either a hamburger or Chicken McNuggets (4 or 6 pieces), and the different pails will be handed out at random while supplies last.

Burger King will also be releasing a Halloween Bucket this year, and McDonald’s noticed…

McDonald’s said in an official statement, “Halloween buckets are popping up everywhere like ghosts in the night– and hey, imitation is the most BOO-tiful form of flattery. But let’s be real: there’s only one OG Halloween bucket, and it comes with a Happy Meal®. This year’s lineup features familiar frightful faces – Ghost, Pumpkin and Goblin – plus two new ghoulie friends, Cat and Zombie. Each bucket has its own creepy, kooky and cute expressions, so you can collect them all! Fans can even dress up their pails with Halloween themed stickers.”
