In addition to releasing brand new single “Punks and Demons” off his upcoming album The Great Satan, Rob Zombie has also announced his first ever public art show this week.

Taking place in Kent, Connecticut at the Morrison Gallery on 60 North Main Street, the show will mark the very first time that Rob Zombie has ever shown off his own paintings.

Zombie writes on Instagram, “Opening October 25th – November 16th at Morrison Gallery in Kent, CT is my first ever showing of my paintings. The opening reception October 25th from 5-7pm. Come on down. There are no tickets. This is free and open to the public.”

The title of the show is “What Lurks on Channel X?“, and like all of Rob Zombie’s art, it’ll give us a window into Zombie’s unique perspective on the world. Expect paintings based on everything from horror movies to popular culture to true crime, all of the things that have been coursing through Zombie’s movies and music for the past several decades.

“Everything I do is kind of ridiculous, I think,” Zombie previews. “This is my world. Just a kid raised on television. I watched TV eight to nine hours a day, every single day. Everything I knew was from television. Everything in my brain… TV, radio, this is all I know.”

Spend Halloween inside Rob Zombie’s head at the Morrison Gallery beginning 10/25.
