‘Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft’ Season 2 Trailer – Netflix Animated Series Concludes in December

Lara Croft is back in “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” Season 2, racing across the globe to uncover ancient relics before a techno-visionary unleashes worldwide destruction.

Based on Tomb Raider video game franchise, the animated series’ final season drops December 11 on Netflix. Watch the trailer below.

“When adventurer Lara Croft discovers a trail of stolen African Orisha masks, she joins forces with her best friend Sam to retrieve the precious artifacts. Lara’s thrilling new adventure takes her around the globe as she delves deeper into the hidden secrets of Orisha history, dodging the machinations of a dangerous and enigmatic billionaire who wants the masks for herself.

“At the same time, she discovers that these relics contain dark secrets and a power that defies logic. Power that may, in fact, be divine. Her new mission leads her to encounter super-powered enemies who gained supernatural abilities through these relics and must find a way to stop them before they enact their plans of unleashing worldwide destruction.”

Hayley Atwell stars as Lara Croft, with Karen Fukuhara as Sam Nishimura, Allen Maldonado as Zip, Earl Baylon as Jonah, Richard Armitage as Charles, Zoe Boyle as Camilla, Nolan North as Conrad, and Ming-Na Wen as Eva.

Tasha Huo (Red Sonja, “The Witcher: Blood Origin”) returns as showrunner. Legendary Television produces, with Powerhouse Animation (“Castlevania,” “Skull Island”) providing animation services.

Daniel Kurland wrote in his review of Season 1, “Netflix’s animated Tomb Raider series captures the essence of the popular gaming franchise and delivers an action-packed adventure that’s ripe with mysticism and monsters.”

While this iteration of Lara Croft is coming to an end, Amazon MGM Studios is set to begin production on a new live-action Tomb Raider series starring Sophie Turner in early 2026.
